Many a time we are under situation where we feel low and stressed. This situation can occur due to excess of work, family pressure, relationship problem, or any other reason.

It’s important to get over this before it’s too late.

Let’s see:

1. Stay positive

The most crucial thing is to stay positive. Now how is this going to happen? It’s all in your head. Start seeing the positive side of any situation. Believe in “EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A GOOD REASON”. So let’s say you had a breakup, take it as a good symbol and TRY(because it’s easy to say and difficult to actually perform) to move on. Or have a burden of work and family; try to prioritize things and balance work-life.

2. Accept what is not in your control

There are many things that we cannot control. For instance, promotion in the office, we feel we did the best but we still didn't meet the parameters and didn’t nail it. Try and accept that event and start working upon the same to actually procure it. Have ' I can do it' spirit in yourself and don’t complaint for something you didn't get or you don’t have.

3. Stay Assertive

This is absolutely important, a person who is assertive usually makes his/her own choices. Also, they stay confident, positive and feel good about themselves while being assertive They usually achieve  goals; when they don't, they take it in a positive manner  because they know they have been working hard and they will win now or then.

4. Relax

It is said that, we are responsible for our happiness and so our thoughts. So try and relax, which means take a break for a while and think what good has happened the present day. Listen to the music that you like, avoid sad music as it will rather make you feel depressed. Do meditation; how? Calm your mind, switch on some soft music and relax your body with eyes close. This really works.

5. Talk to your friend or be your good friend

Talking is a good therapy. Just TALK, to your friend if not friend be your own friend. Start writing, as in the good thoughts or the bad thoughts whatever occurs in your head just pen it down. Why this? As if we’ll talk out our stress or pain, it will reduce.

6. Eat healthy

We all have heard this once in our life that, “Good food, Good mood”. Many people either lose their appetite if they are stressed or they do binge eating which is not at all helpful. Remember, it’s your body and you need to maintain it, NO MATTER WHAT. You should eat more of healthy food, like salad and green veggies or fresh fruits. Have more of fibres than of carbs.

7. Manage time

Well, if you’ll prioritize your work, it will not only manage your time in workplace but also help you have a good relationship and bond with your family. Many people tend to fight and be rude when they are stressed and so they take out their anger on the person they love, this is where the stress increases instead of decreasing. So time management and work-life balance can help you to stay happy.

8. Rest well

Make sure that you take atleast 8 hours of sleep daily. To rest your mind and body, sleep is essential. Many a time people turn into insomnia or hypersomnia when they are stressed. Remember, I mentioned, you are the one who is the owner of your body and needs to maintain it. So take out enough time to sleep or take short naps and REST WELL.

9. Don't rely on alcohol, nicotine and caffeine

In case of any stress, people who consumes more of caffeine or nicotine are the ones who are intentionally damaging their body escaping is not a solution, you need to face it and also work upon it. Relying on nicotine and caffeine will not only lead you in bad shape but have after effect like anxiety and so on.

10. Getting involved in Exercise

Gyming, YES GYMING, can help you to boost the energy and remove stress. You can also get involved in some yoga if you know, or pay a visit to you nearby garden and do walking or jogging. Also, making this activity your habit can help you to get rid of any stress or worry.
